Hafod Boeth

The cottage felt very homely, the views were amazing. We enjoyed the conservatory when it was cooler.

Not a fan of the alexa/siri managed lamps. There were only 3 of us staying so 1 bathroom was not a major problem but I can imagine it can get tricky with a bigger group staying. The lane was very narrow, especially if not used to it but on the plus side very little traffic.

We have loved the house, it's full of character and charm. The owner has left us great instructions for everything we needed and the cookies and fresh eggs left for us were a nice touch. It's on a convenient location so easy access to visit the Isle of Anglesey and Snowdon The house had everything we needed and the comfortable beds made our stay very relaxing.

Great home , fantastic views from bedrooms. Lovely garden. Very clean internal and external. Great communication with owner.

There's nothing not to like!

Hafod Boeth is a characterful cottage in a lovely secluded setting, yet only a short drive to Caernarvon. The beds were very comfortable and Craig, the owner, was very quick to respond and resolve any issues we had during our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped too, with a microwave, air fryer etc It was a nice touch to have been left with a welcome in the form of milk, biscuits and scones. Thanks Craig!

The heating is remotely controlled by the owner and only comes on at scheduled times (once in the morning, once in the evening). If it's cold weather, which it was during our stay, you must rely on a couple of portable electric heaters for warmth. This is less than ideal, as after a cold day out and about you really do need some heat in the house. Unfortunately there is no flexibility to be able to put the heating on yourself, other than message the owner and ask him to do it remotely. One evening the heating did not come on at all until I phoned the owner. The thermostat in the loft had shut down the hearing. This probably all works ok in the Summer but not Autumn/Winter. There are also far too many technical gizmos in the property for the average person, with Alexa controlling the lights individually. This is a somewhat tortuous process when for most people I feel they would just like to switch on a light, it's not so difficult! Overall, we loved our time there, so I hope Craig will take the above as constructive points that I feel will further enhance the experience of Hafod Boeth

House and gardens amazing with stunning views

Wir hatten einen ganz wundervollen Aufenthalt in Hafod Boeth, nochmals vielen Dank Craig, auch für den netten Kontakt. Ein fantastisches Haus mit Geschichte, ruhig gelegen, ein toller Wintergarten mit Blick auf das Meer, wir haben hier ganz tolle Abende verbracht. Auch gibt es einen wunderschönen Garten mit Sitzgelegenheit, plus kleinem Teich, wirklich sehr schön angelegt. Unsere beiden Border Collies haben die Zeit ebenso genossen wie wir selbst, wir kommen gerne wieder.

The photos do not do the property justice. Very comfortable with everything you need. Comfy bed, grwst views, and garden was fantastic.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about the property

The property was beautiful and a great location for exploring. The host was helpful and communicated well. We would return without a shadow of a doubt
