Lovely Spacious Cottage Near The Coast

Lovley little cottage really had everything you needed.

Superb location, well equipped and comfortable, great selection of welcoming goodies including a bottle of prosecco, milk, orange juice and croissants, really thoughtful. Great for our family Xmas lunch with relatives who lived locally. Without doubt the best property I have stayed in in the St Austell area, and I've been coming for years 😀

Marvellous location, within easy reach of many places to visit. Never had accommodation before that was so well equipped! Very cosy cottage in a pretty setting; it was just like home from home.

Couldn't really fault anything. A downstairs toilet for people with a disability would have been a bonus.

Comfortable and well equipped

Felt like a 'home', it was comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. The welcome wine and croissants were a lovely touch. For us it was a good location to visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. There is also a large supermarket a few minutes drive away. It was also quiet, no passing traffic.

For four adults we could have done with a larger pot for pasta and a baking tray. We also felt there should be some kind of mark to show the edge of the step into the kitchen, and from the hall area to step down into the living space.

It was beautiful well cared for and full of unexpected but appreciated extras

- Good location for our excursions - Parking right in front of the house - Charging station for electric cars is available - The beautiful cottage could have come straight out of a Rosamunde Pilcher film, wonderfully romantic - the beds were super comfortable - the rain shower in the bathroom was a dream - a thank you for the lovely welcome goodies: prosecco, milk, chips, orange juice, raisin rolls - Vip- Tickets for the Pinetum Gardens, next door.

There is a very large area that could be used for dog walking. (The owners live on the huge property.) However, there are chickens running around everywhere, so dogs are not allowed to be kept off leash. That's a shame because we couldn't use the garden. In addition, access is only possible via some stone steps, which are overgrown with moss and become dangerously slippery when wet.

The cottage has been carefully designed, decorated and lots of extras were included ( milk, croissant, bottle of Prosecco, passes to visit the pinetum garden…) in fact everything that you may need during your stay. Warm, super comfortable We had excellent nights sleeps in super comfy beds, cotton bed linen, clean. Excellent base for travelling around. So peaceful and calm

Loved everything, if I want to be picky a hairdryer would have been nice
