Thorn House a beautiful large house in Witney

- clean - Pauline was responsive and accommodating for requests (eg providing travel cots / early check in) - large property with 7 bedrooms, however the kitchen / dining / living area felt a little small for the number of bedrooms. We were ok as didn’t have the max number guests the property could take, but would feel cramped if at full capacity

- a bit tired looking, carpets and bathrooms could do with an update - no working smoke alarm - in a built up housing estate

Lovely bright and spacious. More than one reception room so whole family had somewhere to chill. Downstairs toilet. Lovely bedding. Nice and warm. Fantastic showers upstairs. Snacks, tea and coffee left. Beautiful garden space.

No downstairs shower. No locks on any bathroom doors. Some very soft mattresses - one of downstairs singles very uncomfortable. Appreciate being able to stay until 12.30 when usual check out time is 10.30 o a sunday but having to check out too early to be able to have Sunday lunch first when you are booking for a weekend is a waste of Sunday afternoon when you have all travelled to be together for a weekend. Would be nice to have 2 full days (3pm firday to 3pm Sunday) when booking for a weekend. Downstairs bedroom has a door window with no curtain and a streetlight outside. Room in full light all night.

We were really pleased with the size for the property and it’s location. There was plenty of space for us all.

There was nothing we didn’t like, apart from needing to improvise for a whisk and slotted spoon when cooking!

very comfortable, beds had good quality linen, bathrooms very clean

overflowing rubbish bins at the front of the property

Really easy check in. Very accommodating when we asked for slightly later check out.
