"Was lovely but could be so much better with a few improvements."

7.0

The location is fantastic. Lovely pub within 1 minute walk. Very clean.

No Tv on the living room. We walked all day and spent evenings wanting to chill but had to watch tv in bedroom. Windows are all in the ceiling space and no blinds or curtains so when sun is up so are you. Bed too small and very uncomfortable. The size of the room you could get a king in there and still have space. The mattress was way too soft. No space to prepare anything in the kitchen. We came home from a long wet walk one day and couldn’t park at the cottage as someone else in there. The laundry facilities are shared with people .

Wonderful little property. Equipped with everything you need to cater for yourself. Lovely location, walk on the doorstep and great pub just a minutes walk away.

Nothing.

"Quirky property, fine for a short stay if you don't plan to cook, value for money."

6.0

Excellent location, in a beautiful area. Friendly host took me on a tour of the mill. Pub opposite does excellent food. Comfy fireside chair and sofa, kitchen well equipped. Ability to control underfloor heating and bedroom heating ourselves. Value for money.

Double bed was small and very high up off the floor - was frightened of falling out. No TV in lounge - if you want to sit by fire, you need to watch upstairs TV through the bars of railings - not good, or you can watch TV in bed. Kitchen was very small and lacked work top area so very difficult to cook in. Very strict rule of "no outside shoes to be worn inside".

Lovely cosy and quirky accommodation in a mill. Lothersdale is a secluded dale, with lots to do near by. It is really well appointed and Jon the owner is very helpful and welcoming. His tour of the mill is really good. Fascinating history. Would really recommend this accomodation as a place to stay. The pub is 1 minute away and is also excellent.

Lovely quiet and peaceful location, quirkiness and history of the property, facilities, everything we needed for our stay,

Parking is a bit of a pain but nothing that we couldn't work around.
