The whole stay was absolutely perfect, Shed End has a fascinating history and is in very capable hands. The guided tour of the mill was informative and made extra special by Jon's obvious love of the place. We will be back without a doubt. Thank you.

Nothing to report, it was just perfect 10/10

Loved this quirky accommodation within an old cotton mill. Very well equipped, very comfortable and a bargain with Booking.com genius discount. So grateful that Jon took the time to show us around and tell us all about the history of the mill.

There's nothing we didn't like, but just advise anyone else staying that there are no local shops, so do your food shopping before you arrive. Or go to the local pub a few mins walk away.

Everything was perfect

Comfortable accommodation in a very peaceful setting. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and good hot shower. Lovely walks from the door and plenty of wildlife around. Interesting tour of the mill from the owner was a bonus.

I personally didn't like that there were no eye level windows, there's plenty of light through the high windows so it's not dark. I just felt a little isolated not being able to see out other than the sky. But if that wouldn't bother you then there were no other negatives that I'd highlight.
