"Phenominal magical visit with so many provisions!"

9.0

It had a lot of character! Super cosy, wonderful log burner, underfloor heating, so many provisions, felt well looked after. John also came to check on us and was willing to give us a tour around the mill which was wonderful. Also was given access to the world’s largest indoor Waterwheel, only a few meters from the property! Was also given access to a Steinway Grand piano upstairs which plays beautifully. Lovely walks nearby as well, next to a stream. It was such a wonderful, little getaway holiday experience would HIGHLY recommend.

Very difficult to comment, there’s so much to praise. If being really picky, we noticed the WiFi would cut out every now and again when attempting to watch something on Netflix or Disney, but this is really minor

"A perfect getaway, ideal for couples who love the area and the history of Lothersdale Mill."

10.0

The location was perfect for us. We wanted a 'getaway' from the busy hustle and bustle of everyday life. Jon's property fitted the bill. Tucked away in the old mill. Shed End is unique and quirky, a clever and well thought out restoration of part of the old mill. As you open the door and step in you know it is a special place, one of a kind, lovingly put together.

There was nothing we didn't like.

"Cosy, quirky property"

9.0

A quirky property, with many characterful features relating to the Mill. The host showed us round the rest of the Mill, the history was very interesting. The wood burning stove worked well. The village pub is just across the road, the food was very good.

A bit more work surface in the kitchen would have been useful.

Underfloor heating and location

Bed was squeaky and the kitchen needs more space to prepare food.
