The house is terrific, very clean and warm, and it's beautifully made. Jonathan is an amazingly kind host and I suggest you to take a tour of the old mill if you have time.

Fantastic and interesting building. An old cotton mill being renovated by the owner. Our apartment was wonderful, nicely renovated, very comfortable. Situated in a small village, fantastic pub, with good food. Close to moors and Skipton.

Nothing..we were comfortable. Able to enjoy the property and the surrounding area

"Quirky, clean, well equipped, comfortable - very quiet with Tawny Owls!"

9.0

The host was welcoming and showed us around the Mill - which was interesting! The facilities were good and it was a very unusual set up, but worked well for us! The kitchen was very well equipped!

The kitchen was a little cramped and I had to keep moving the bin to get at things.

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

10.0

The location was ideal for exploring the southern Dales, remote enough to be quiet but near enough (about 5 miles) to Skipton. There is also the Hare and Hounds pub about 150 yards away if you don`t want to drive (although the pub is near you can`t hear any noise from it). Although there are no windows there is plenty of light due to the roof skylights, the one in the bedroom is excellent for star gazing while laid in bed. Thanks again Jon for the interesting tour of the mill and good luck with the rest of the renovation.

A couple of minor things, the kitchen could do with more worktop space - maybe swap the full size fridge for an under unit fridge. The hot water was a bit inconsistent.

quiet location, comfortable place to stay, with a nice village pub. Host was friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area and its history. Ask to see the water wheel, it's enormous!

"Beautiful, cosy stay in the quiet countryside"

10.0

The location was excellent and the shed was even better than we expected. John the host gave us a tour of the old mill which was an added bonus & we both found fascinating. My husband went fishing close by and there is a lovely pub/restaurant very close to the shed. I would definitely recommend & we will almost certainly come back to stay again soon

Parking our car down the lane was quite tight but no problem for my husband.
