"Wonderful place for a quiet retreat"

Amazing location. Living for a few days in such a history-filled place is fantastic. John the owner was very nice and interesting when asked about the past of the mill. The town is lovely and quiet. The walks around are great.

The large curtain-less windows are a bit tough for sleeping in the summer, when the night starts late and the morning sun is very early.

Great eggs, nice views! The home was very well kept and fully equipped. It is in the middle of Yorkshire countryside and great starting point for many trips.

Stunning property and very well kept. Beautiful surroundings.Plenty of walks in the area. The kitchen was small but well equipped .We had a great time and would highly recommend it!

The apartment had everything you could need and was so well thought out. Lots of character and in a beautiful location. Our host was so helpful, bed very comfy and overall a great stay. Local pub serves great food, but book as very popular. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend
