modern clean plenty of equipment. comfortable beds , good heating , TV / Alexa all work well - beautiful touches with decor including the Christmas decorations 🥳

a couple more toilet rolls would have been good as it was a bank holiday 😬 Very nice bathroom but it is downstairs so as elderly father found negotiating stairs at night a bit difficult he slept on sofa bed downstairs, although he was perfectly comfortable it meant he didn’t have his “own room” . There is only room to park one car so other car was parked 5 min walk away costing £31 for 3 days - although easy to wait outside for drop things off before parking as quiet cul de sac .

Walls are thinnish, so could hear the neighbours one night until after midnight. Really fiddly code locker- hard to close

The property was spotlessly clean, very well decorated and appointed. We had everything we could possibly want in the kitchen, utensils, cooker. Microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker etc., etc. It was the first day of December and Christmas lights had been put up in the courtyard garden and living room and tasteful decorations over the mantlepiece. We had also been left a hamper which was very unexpected but very welcome. There are probably many more complimentary statements I could make.

Excellent location in a very quiet street just 5 minutes walk to the Centre of wonderful York. Excellent cooking facilities and great heating that warmed the place up quickly after a busy day wandering around York. Beds were comfortable but our preference was the back bedroom as the front room was far too soft. We relaxed in the kitchen area more than the front snug and liked the big Sony TV (Shame you could only watch Live TV in the snug area) So we ended up using the on-demand apps in the kitchen area. Great location for the restaurants and pubs and a Sainsbury's Local is just round the corner or you can walk a little further to the M&S food hall.

Front bedroom mattress too soft and you have to be careful with privacy as your overlooked.
