Jane's Cottage Free Parking

Location was very good. Street parking with permit was good.

The accommodation was very run down and dirty. Layout of furniture does not help with how cramped everything is. The shower room is exceptionally small. If you are a bigger built person you will literally not fit in the sliding door as it only partly opens.

The heater didn’t work and the bathroom is very small.

Needs a new rug in the living room and a draining board at the kitchen sink. Good shower.

He had no information about the reservation, the bed sheet of the sofa bed that was opened had not been changed and was dirty, we told him the first evening, he did not take it into consideration, he asked for a picture, we told him again the next day, it still had not been changed, we came to the house and looked and called again, then they changed it. We paid a fee for this house, and there was no good cleaning and attention.

Bed was comfortable. Cottage was a short walk away from the city centre.

We stayed for 5 days in January. The central heating was our issue on day one. Thermostat needed new batteries. All else was minimal.

The location was excellent, parking a massive bonus, quiet.

The cleanliness could have been better and the property could do with some maintenance. We found it to be too warm particularly at night with the programmed heating system overriding the temperature we set.
