Jane's Cottage Free Parking

Good location, easy parking, place was nice and clean, host left some helpful recommendations for local area.

It's very small for 4 people, you have walk through the small living room with the second bed in it to get to the bathroom. I would say only suitable for max 2 adults. Bathroom also tiny.

Location was fab Functionally it had what we needed Parking right outside Lovely garden area to sit in Easy self checkin and out Felt secure and safe Heating system easy to use

The decor was tired and created a ‘drab’ atmosphere. We brought the bedside lamp into the lounge one evening to give us some softer lighting. Linen was well worn, sheets actually had holes in them and towels thin and bit musty smelling - knew we were sleeping / drying where many had slept and dried before us. Washing up sponge wasn’t new. Someone’s leftover pasta in the cupboard and shower products in the shower. Mildew I’m the shower, slow draining bathroom sink, oven in need of a refresh, curtains in bedroom not fully hooked up - all made for a grubby feel. Bathroom was extremely cramped, only small window sill to put anything down on and had a caravan feel with pvc on ceiling. We were visiting for a wedding so thankfully, our accommodation wasn’t a big focus - it just had to serve a purpose which it did.

Too small for 4 people, sofa not suitable for sleeping (broken, difficulties with unfolding ), not enough space; extremelly small bathroom, toilet next to the kitchen…. Wi-Fi didn’t work most of the time

We enjoyed the location in Inverness downtown..

We did not enjoy the sleeping arrangements for our son. The pullout couch was not leveled, and he was very uncomfortable. There was also a whole in the wall in our bedroom upon our arrival. In the kichen, there was not a coffee pot for the coffee maker so my husband could enjoy the coffee we brought for the stay..also there also were not any paper towels to use in the kitchen . Bathroom, there was only 1 roll of toilet for three people to use for the 3 days that I booked. We ended up buying more to use and took what we bought with us. We ended up leaving a day early because of my sons lack of comfort.

Location. Fine for a flying visit for 2 folk max.

Not suitable for a family of 4, shouldn't even come up in the listings. Sofa bed broken at one end, mould under the mattress and really uncomfortable. Main bed was ridiculously firm, I like a firm mattress but this thing is a slab of granite. The shower room is so small you can't really dry yourself in there. Internet was unusablely slow for 50% of the time. Could be just about usable for 4 folk if the mattress and sofa bed were replaced but there's defo better accommodation nearby.

Clean fridge and accessibility to Inverness.

The bed was too hard, and dangerous we kept banging our legs on the corners. The bathroom door was too big and bathroom too small. There should be more instructions about how the central heating can be controlled. Some of the cutlery were dirty. Photos didn't reflect the property.
