It was spotlessly clean, every amenity you could think of, felt very homely. Plus there were dogs and horses everywhere. Beautiful view.

"Third stay and hopefully not the last."

Thank you once again for comfortable stay. Our third. Watching the horses on the manage is always fascinating. The young riders are so skilled. Drive to Aldcliffe, park by canal and walk into Lancaster centre with interesting buildings, good shops, and cafes. The best sunsets of anywhere we have stayed!

"Perfect stay near Lancaster."

Everything was perfect. The lodge was cozy and clean and it was safe at all times. The location was very close to Lancaster while still feeling like the countryside. The horses and dogs made our stay very enjoyable, thank you.

"Lovely lodge"

This is a lovely little holiday lodge with beautiful surroundings. The hosts were very friendly and communicative and we were greeted by a very nice dog! Check in and check out were very smooth, and the hosts made sure we had anything we needed. The Booths which is a short drive or a 20 minute walk from the lodge was also very convenient! Good spot for a digital detox. The lodge is 20 minutes from the number 1 bus stop, it might be a challenging walk with suitcases so we started to take taxis. The hosts provided the numbers of several taxi companies, and were very helpful. Overall, a great stay!

There was no WiFi, which could be a draw or a drawback depending on your perspective.
