"An exceptionally good base for exploring the Mendips."

Leylands Annex was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen/diner was incredibly well stocked with cooking materials. Additionally there were some generous welcome items that made arriving exceptionally pleasant. The wardrobe was even supplied with sufficient hangers! The owners (who lived on-site) were friendly and helpful. I'd happily make a return visit if exploring the area again.

This is not something that the owners could fix: the local pub (the Waldegrave in East Harptree) was unreliable so we were only able to visit it once. (This is not to be confused with the Waldegrave in the nearby village of Chewton Mendip which does really good pub food).

A wonderful apartment, a kitchen equipped with all kitchen requirements, making you feel like you are at home, Clean, wonderful views, Free Parking, sophisticated treatment from the owner.. We had a great time..

Far from main road, Having a car is necessary..

The property was compact, comfortable and very well organised, with everything needed to hand. It was terrifically good value and Lyn and Phil could not have been kinder or more welcoming.

"Lovely place to stay to visit Bath, Wells or even the Coast."

Annexe made a very comfortable stay for a long weekend. Hosts were very welcoming and left us some refreshments to use which was a nice touch. We had a car to visit all the places we wanted to so all in all a most enjoyable stay.
