HAYFIELD COTTAGE spacious detached luxury home

The property is beautiful, a gorgeous bungalow, in a lovely area, secluded but within easy commutable distance for a number of places in the area. We visited not only York, but also Harrogate, Whitby & Filey. The house itself was lovely, pretty much our ideal. Plenty of space, lovely garden, there was nothing we needed, it had everything. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This is not a fault of the property at all, but the master bedroom which was upstairs was just too hot for us. Given that Britain is currently experiencing record breaking temperatures, that is not surprising. There was a fan upstairs for use, which we were very grateful for. The two bedrooms downstairs were both double beds. If all the beds were king size, we would have chosen to sleep downstairs & it may have been a bit cooler. So to reiterate, no fault of the property, it was lovely, just record temps made upstairs too warm.

It's a beautiful house with a great garden space. We stayed for one night but wished we could have stayed for longer. Everything you needed from a kitchen, bathroom and comfortable beds. Self check-in with a locker key.

The location is perfect for us as we’re from the area and the cottage is very close to where we want to be. This time we came to York with family so the cottage was big enough for us all.

Amazing home, it had everything we needed for a perfect weekend stay, loved the kitchen! The garden was gorgeous and our spaniel and lab loved laying out in the sun. Beds were really comfy, I wish we could've stayed longer, will definitely be returning. Great location just outside of york, a group of us stayed for a wedding nearby

Excellent home! Spacious kitchen area with plenty of light. Lovely garden. Good communication with property owner.

Upstairs shower/sink was a little cramped. No bathroom hooks to hang anything. Few loose floor tiles in ground floor bedrooms.

Beautiful home and garden. Perfect for our stay.
