La salle a manger et le jardin clos sont magnifiques et reposants ! c'est un lieu parfait pour une famille . La ville de York est à 10 minutes en voiture .

ce n'est pas une critique car cela ne nous gênait pas , mais il faut forcement une voiture pour accéder aux magasins et à la ville .

We booked this home for birthday celebrations, and it was the perfect venue. The house was stunning, with an amazing location, and the kitchen and garden became our favourite spots. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and provided amenities like shower gels, shampoo, conditioners, sugar, tea, coffee, and milk. One of us accidentally left behind some clothing, and the hosts kindly messaged us, offering to send it back, which is truly amazing. Our experience was fantastic, and we would definitely book again in the future.

We loved the location, the garden, the sociable kitchen, dining, living area and the bbq. It is a lovely house and perfect for a group of friends with lots of lovely touches.

These are only small things, but the flies were a big problem. You've obviously tried to fit nets to keep them at bay, but they were getting in still. I'm not sure if there is a fly light or something that could be tried. There was only one wine glass available, which wasn't enough for us. Maybe a welcome pack would be useful for those who don't know the area, although with phones it isn't such a necessity anymore. If you dont want to drive into York, then taxis are a necessity but still a lovely location.

Peace and quiet, close to York attractions, spacious and homely

Low ceiling in upstairs bedroom causing problems. Sink in shower room very small and impractible, again low ceilings for tall individuals. That said the property had character
