The location is great with easy access to lots of interesting places and walks. The lodge is well equipped and comfortable. We didn't use the veranda because it was December, but this would be a real bonus in summer.

Wonderful clean and bright lodge. Had everything you need for a lovely stay. Beautiful outlook over the lake and totally dog friendly which was great.

Nothing we didn't like about this lodge.

Everything! The welcoming tea, coffee and cake was such a lovely touch. The information booklet great and covered all questions. Lodge has everything you need and great location. Being right on the water was fab. Shame we had bad weather so could not sit outside, but still, a good excuse to go back!

There wasn't anything we didn't like!

Modern, two bathrooms, location and view onto lake. Well looked after by the host. Loved the wood pellet stove in the living room as we stayed during a freezing cold spell. Host was really attentive and felt like they truly cared about your stay.

Tiny, tiny things like no instructions for the modern kitchen, so we were confused using the hob etc. property is amazing but just needs a little bit of a deep clean with cobwebs and dusty extractor fans.
