Staycation at Pine Cottage, a newly refurbished holiday cottage

Fijn huis met veel comfort. Alles was aanwezig wat je mogelijk nodig zou hebben.

We liked everything.

The only thing we didn't like was the pet hair that was everywhere.

The place itself was lovely, unusual layout but we liked it. Great that they accept dogs. Everything was exceptionally clean. Really nice kitchen and bathroom.

Shame no real garden would have liked to be able to sit outside, plus no parking space had to park half way down the street a couple of times. Unfortunately the TV played up the last night we were there. A few small dinks in the walls.

Great location. Great for self catering.

Property was spacious.

Beds were too soft so we didn’t sleep very well.

Location on main road between Goodwick sea front and St Davids, but in the village. However, there is very little traffic on this road except at peak times, and then it's only occasional! There is no parking at the property, but we had no difficulty parking our vehicles nearby. The property has been recently and very well refurbished, to a high standard. There is very little to criticise. It was well-equipped and clean. We arrived early and caught the two young lady cleaners still at work, they were very pleasant, we left them to it and came back later.

I expect a new front door is on the owner's shopping list, but it was secure. The kitchen sink and bathroom basin plugs were missing (-we found the latter in their hiding place). Either a previous guest had 'removed' the bathroom basin plug or it had been removed for some commercial reason I don't know. It's difficult when you want a proper wash/shave! Fortunately I carry spares... The mattresses are too soft for my liking but the beds were still comfortable. No problem sleeping.

This cottage was perfect for the couple of days we were there..spotlessly clean, comfortable, warm and everything you would need. Owners had left some welsh cakes and milk, sugar and tea-very welcomed. Not too far from Ferry port..was great!

In the twin room there was no storage..the room was a funny angle but if reduced to 1 bed and storage that would have been better as only 1 wardrobe and chest of drawers in double room. We didnt need a garden but only garden is at the front.
