Alnwick Holiday House - Charming, Historic, Central Alnwick with Courtyard

Excellent location everything there you need exceptionally clean will come again

the location was perfect. 2 minutes walk from the castle which was our favourite spot. and literally in the town centre so loads of options for shops and food. the bed was one of the most comfortable i've ever slept on. it was cozy and homey, lots of personality and beautiful outdoor seating. great selection of games and movies - with a big tv! they provided everything one could need plus MORE!! shower was spacious and powerful with comfortable towels and lovely scented toiletries. great value for money - hope to come back! my whole family loved it.

bit of issue with recycling, not necessarily their fault but be aware as we had to take most of ours home as there were limited procedures/bins for throwing things away. hairdryer was also quite hidden - took me about 10 minutes to find so would make sense to keep that in the bathroom(?). though this is us being picky!

The location was perfect. The castle is at the top of the road a couple of minutes. There is lots to see and do within walking distance. The home is very comfortable, spacious, clean and well equipped for all you would need. Parking was also permitted so you can park outside and we parked fine. Its a lovely town and has a charm about it.

There is nothing to report here and anyone who knows me and my black and white honest nature will be shocked I have nothing to say in this box!

Stripping your own beds and not being able to leave luggage a couple of hours after check out. We ended up sitting at a station with 2 disabled people for 3 hrs.

Beautiful house which was spotlessly clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. Loved the log burning stoves when the evenings got a little chilly. Fantastic location within easy reach of the town centre. The parking permit was really useful so we were able to park right outside the house without any problems.

Nothing, cant wait to return to this wonderful property.

Comfort and facilities in the accommodation. Quiet location, close to town centre. Excellent communication and help from the owner. Very clean. Lovely courtyard.

Slamming of the entrance door from the main street as other residents arrived and departed. Otherwise perfect.

Baileygate House is very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. The accommodation is located on a quiet street, with a lot of historic character, just beside the entrance to Alnwick Castle. It is the perfect base for exploring Alnwick and touring the local area. With the visitors' parking permit we had no problems parking directly outside the accommodation each day. Fiona is a very helpful host and made us feel most welcome. The information pack provided for guests is very comprehensive and a good guide to local attractions and places to drink and eat.

Clearer instructions on how to operate the central heating system would be helpful.
