No 2 Planetree

Lochgoilhead is such a lovely calm place. Perfect for a time out. The house is spacious, clean and has all the comforts. The hot tub was a highlight in the evenings with a view along the Loch. We had a great time.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at No2 Planetree. Wow wow wow...communication was fantastic and attentive, available before, during and post stay. The amenities were just beautiful with exceptional comfy beds in both rooms. Tastefully decorated throughout and immaculate. Spacious with the most stunning views if Lochgoilhead itself from the living room, front bedroom and top garden area with hot tub which we put to good use. The location is idyllic within the little village taking you back in time with the little shop which doubles up as a post office and is cash only. The surrounding area has plenty of walks and the enchanted forest is 3mins walk away near the village school. We have rebooked again and this will be one of many. Highly recommended and looking forward to returning, in fact we didn't want to come home. Thank you xx Wendy & Gary xx

Absolutely nothing!

The location and views of this cottage are incredible. The deck and the hot tub were a nice touch which unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use due to the weather. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stop on our road trip back south.

That we only had three days at No 2 Planetrees and it rained all the time. We can't complain aa we'd had two weeks of sunshine previously.

What an amazing find:) I'd rather keep this place a secret for myself it's a Hidden Gem 💎 Planetree Cottage was spotlessly clean, everything we needed Home-From-Home. The views are just breathtaking 😍 we love it so much we are already arranging to go back. Sam has been wonderful, very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay!

The garden needs some TLC and the garden furniture replacing could be a much better space

Stunning location. Great property. Plenty of room. Everything we needed. Great hot tub with amazing views. Great wee pub and restaurant within 5 min walk. Perfect.

The property is a beautiful quaint cottage in the wonderful location of Lochgoilhead There’s lots of character about the cottage and its gardens With loads of space, it’s very deceiving from the outside, we had plenty room with four. The cottage could easily sleep 6 comfortably Beds were comfortable and kitchen equipment and utilities good quality The views from our bedroom and living room to the front are spectacular and with the raised patio with hot tub and dining area, they were panoramic Unfortunately the weather was against us but I could envisage a lovely summers day on that patio with family and friends

The garden is very overgrown and with the weather conditions found the access to the hot tub a bit unsafe. This is an easy fix that would not stop me booking again
