No 2 Planetree

The location of the cottage was fabulous for views of Loch Goil. The cottage it's self is clean and warm, perfect for the time of year we visited. We would definitely stay at No2 planetree Cottage again. My family loved every minute.

There is nothing I didn't like. I understand the need for a waterproof mattress protectors. Is there a more discreet, undetectable product that could be used?

I was happy with all aspects of our stay but awareness that the WiFi is a little temperamental but I expected this because of where the cottage is situated.

The location was really lovely, and the cottage had a hot tub which the kids especially loved. The area has amazing walks and scenary, and things like shops and restaurants were not far away.

The only thing that was a bit of an issue (and I'm not sure anything can be done about it) was the broadband. It regularly went off and was very slow, but it was only an issue as we had a lot of rain, so needed to use it more than expected.

The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Hot tub was an added luxury.

Issue with the boiler that had to be topped up, this resulted in having no heat etc first thing in the morning

Pretty location on the shore of Loch Goil. Property was quaint and had bags of character. Hot tub was a great feature ☺️

Beautiful location, stunning views, very clean, having a hot tub was fabulous. Equipped with cooking essentials and tea coffee etc.

As it’s darker nights and with hot tub being at the back of the property and up a slope it would be helpful to have some fairy lights once you reach the patio where the hot tub is. Geoff who carried out the maintenance brought and fixed lights the day after but this was just at the top of the steps and provided no benefit really and you were in the darkness once the auto lights went off. We couldn’t find a torch in the house but there may have been one but this would be really helpful if it’s location was in the information hand book as it was raining so taking our phones to use as a torch wasn’t ideal as we couldn’t take these into the tub with us anyway. Some extra towels for the hot tub too would be great?
