Great location just few steps from the beach, perfect for the stroll or longer walks. Its also great as a base if you want to visit Lakes and hike one of many wainwrights. Plenty to discover around. The house itself is nice, has everything you might need either during long or short stay, very well equipped and beds are very comfortable. Communication with hosts was fantastic 👌 I ver mucg have enjoyed my stay.

It was a perfect quiet beautiful stay

Everything from the second i walked through the door . Everything was perfect . The layout the furniture and the magic touch of christmas . Beds comfortable everything conveinient liz and dave should be proud to own such a holiday home we will be back in touch .

Everything was perfect

Lovely, cosy house with plenty of room.Great views from the windows. Walking distance to the beach, which was no too busy and dogs loved it.

The house was spacious , well equipped, and super clean. The beds were super comfy. Our host explained access to the house very well. The house is very close to the beach so it's a nice area for walking. There are hills close by as well. Overall, it is great value for money.

Heating was set up to switch off at night, and it was chilly. 10 am checkout was a bit too early.

Very spacious and spotlessly clean accommodation, the beds were very comfortable and there was everything you needed for an enjoyable stay.

The location and ability to walk in the local area particularly around the nature reserve. The front balcony was a great place to sit in the evening sunshine and take in the glorious views. We were blessed with brilliant weather.

On arrival we were a little disappointed to see the property was not facing the estuary it looks on the details as if it is. The property would benefit from a deep clean. Three cooker rings would not light and the extractor fan didn’t work. As the rings are gas this could be dangerous. We reported this to the host before we left and they confirmed this would be attended to before the next guests arrived. The ground floor rooms suffer from poor ventilation and some dampness but I guess this is really the design of the property. As previous guests mentioned there was a pervading smell of curry in the lounge area but we couldn’t determine where this was from. The bathroom towel rails didn’t work meaning the bathroom upstairs was very chilly. Despite this we had a great five days and the price was brilliant so thank you.
