Absolutely brilliant property fully equipped with absolutely everything you need and more

Loved the spacious living area & all the gadgets you needed for your stay. The front balcony was fabulous to watch the sun go down. Bathrooms were clean, modern & spacious. Really comfy beds, perfect after a days walking! It was perfect to chill out & yet explore the area, even into the fells.

We loved the location to nearby attractions including the lakes, beaches and walks. The beach was 5 minutes away and our grandson loved the sand and rocks. The house had everything we needed and the hosts Liz and Dave were attentive from the moment we booked to when we checked out.

A comfortable place to stay, had everything we needed. Nice walks in the area and convenient to the Lakes District attractions. Local pub has good home cooked meals too

Need a new frying pan, washing up bowl, drainer and fresh dishcloth for each new guest. These things are fairly trivial, but quite off putting. Glad there was a dishwasher.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Combe-n-sea, the house is gorgeous. Well laid out and we felt our family (1 little one in the top family bedroom with us, and 3 teenagers) had plenty of space to spread out but then also join together on the middle floor for meals and to chill out together. The games were a lovely touch, and we enjoyed an evening playing games and cards. The balconies are lovely to sit out on. The house was clean, everything we needed, and the owners were lovely sending messages beforehand to tell us about the area, etc. The area itself is beautiful. We didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted to do, so a trip back will hopefully be on the cards. We absolutely loved the beach and spent a lot of time playing and chilling out on the beach. We also enjoyed the sea wall walk. It's stunning, and there were lots of different things for the kids to explore. Thank you so much for our stay and for the great communication.

Our only recommendation would be bigger towels, luckily I bought a couple of bath towels from home.

What a hidden gem the area is, so close to all that is good for the lakes and the seaside, definitely recommend Mawsons ice cream parlour in Seascale
