Quiet location. Owner had kindly left milk, fruit, butter, biscuits and marmalade. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets.

It looked like the property hadn`t been properly dusted or hoovered for quite some time. There were spiders webs which were inches thick behind the front door, webs inside the bedroom lamp, between the wardrobe and chest of drawers in the bedroom..... The bath towels were large and fluffy but smelled awful when used/wet. Smelled like they had been dried outside when manure was being spread, or dried/re-used without being washed. Made our skin smell awful all day. The living room window needs looked at and fixed. There is a gap below the window where daylight could be seen along the full length of it, between the wall below and the window frame above. It must be very cold in winter. Mattress on the bed had quite a roll to the side, at least on the right hand side. Kitchen was missing some basics - a chopping board is a very basic item in a kitchen. How can you chop up veg etc without a board? No masher - I mashed turnip with a fork. No microwave. No sieve. One oven tray which we bought a lining for before we used it. Owner messaged me to say keys were in the door. No contact thereafter when I confirmed entry or when I messaged to thank her on the morning we left. No instructions given re keys on departure, so we just left them in the door of the property, hoping that would be safe.

Amazing stay. Wonderful hosts. The accommodation is so cute and homely. We spent the first evening playing stratford upon avon monopoly and listening to songs on a vinyl record player. Which was absolutely superb and haven't played records in many years. Host left us a few treats and essentials which was a lovely touch. Made us feel so right at home. Even a cake and card for my fiancé's 30th!! Incredible. Nice 20 minute walk into the town, so location was great. And the mattress is probably the comfiest we've ever slept on. Loved our stay 10/10.

The barn is in a lovely village with a nice pub and restaurants. It is in walking distance to Stratford upon Avon which we really enjoyed. Jane gave us lots of information prior to our visit and was very friendly on the phone.

Unfortunately the barn was not as clean as I would have expected, it was very dusty and there were a lot of cobwebs/dead bugs! It wasn’t a big issue for us but it might be for other people, the oven doesn’t work nor does the record player.

This property is in a great location. 5 minute walk to a great pub and a few lovely restaurants. Within 20 mins walk and 5 minute drive to the main town centre. Really peaceful location. Lots of TV channel options. Uber operate here making it easy to get into town.

Whilst the property in general was clean there were a couple of things that if sorted would have made our rating a 9 instead of a 7. I had to clean the fridge as it was “grubby”. The biggest issue was the spiders and cobwebs everywhere. I appreciate this property is in a rural location but someone had been in that morning to drop off milk and butter so it would have been worth doing a quick check for things like this prior to our arrival. Other than this we had an enjoyable stay.

Location was lovely and 20 min walk into Stratford

Too many cob webs every where behind furniture and on ceilings. I know it was rustic but I am scared of spiders and it put me off to be honest. Also in the lounge kitchen of the barn was the main oak beam that you had to duck under back and forth and my partner banged his head numerous times and it was a chore really. The ice box in the fridge needed defrosting too as we could nt get the ice in at all .

The property is beautiful- quirky and unique- very very comfortable - hosts were fantastic

The property was a great location for Stratford upon Avon, about a30 minute walk.the hosts provided lovely touches like fresh milk & English muffins & butter & greeted us on arrival.

The property was very dusty & had a lot of thick cobwebs, I know it’s an old building but it hadn’t had a deep clean for a while, also the bed was unbelievably creeky & woke us every time we rolled over.
