Nurse's Cottage

Location is amazing! Tomintoul is such a charming little village in the Cairngorms, with pubs and a shop in easy walking distance. The house is super well equipped, I don't think there was anything missing, as a matter of fact the design is tasteful and all very clean, beds comfortable, kitchen has all the that you may want. Would be happy to spend our next holiday here for sure. Thank you!

The property was beautifully clean and maintained. Everything that you needed was there (apart from a microwave but no issue) the hosts had left a beautiful Xmas tree for us and right next to a park so perfect for kids. Very short walk to the shop and pubs and I just wish we could’ve stayed longer! Storm Gerrit hit when we were there so we were without electricity however the hosts co Stanely checked in on us and even offered to put us up in a hotel for the night! She even posted a parcel that had been sent to us and some items we left accidentally! Absolutely outstanding!

Beautiful gem of a cottage, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Very stylishly renovated with everything you need for a stay, and a well equipped kitchen. Very quiet and peaceful, but on excellent hiking and running routes (some particularly good trail running routes right on the doorstep). The garden was enclosed and perfect for our dog, and the owners were very responsive to queires. If you're there in autumn/winter, check out the night sky.... tomintoul is in the dark sky park and the stars are spectacular. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and we'd definitely come again.

Very cosy and homy place! Enough space for a family of 5. Everything went smoothly.

We absolutely loved the cottage. It was a little difficult though to cook for all, as not all pots and pants were fitting to the modern inductive cooking field.

The property is fantastic. Decorated to a high standard and well thought out. The rooms are all a good size and the beds extremely comfortable. Great outdoor space which made the holiday for our dog Lottie. Lovely outside seating area which catches the sun in the evening.
