Nurse's Cottage

Lovely cottage, gorgeous decor and nice furnishings. It’s really well equipped and has everything you could need for your stay.

Immaculately presented, so cozy and everything you could need was there for you.

No complaints, just observations!!! handles at the front door for less able bodied would be good. we all knew about the lip on there door between to kitchen and utility room, still all tripped on it. But these were very small observations which did not spoil a superb few days away!

A well laid out home with plenty of space and comfy furnishings. The village of Tomintoul is fantastic for exploring the local area and quiet enough to allow you to rest.

Nurses Cottage is beautifully yet comfortably and practically arranged: furnished and thought through. It’s in part of the Cairngorms that is less busy than other parts: but the town of Tomintoul has its own life and residents and is incredibly pleasant and easy to explore the area from, with its own lovely hill or lower level based walks. We loved the two mountain walks we did from slightly out of area in the actual CairnGorms: but we also really loved the two hill walks and one river walk we did from the cottage. Such a pleasant and welcoming place- I always worry travelling with children and dogs and it was just lovely and no worry.
