welsh country cottage in beautiful village

Lovely cottage clean and comfortable. Owners were excellent with check in details and contactable in the event of any issues. Great location for exploring Wales. Excelleent value for monet

Parking opposite drive made for a challenge to get vehicle on drive. Not much can be done to combat this as its a public highway. Could also have done with a dishcloth in kitchen.

Location and it’s dog friendly. It’s just about 15 mins to the Conwy city centre.

The house is not warm enough even though we turned the radiator up.

Cosy, clean cottage in a lovely quiet area. Excellent location, lovely pub nearby. Fantastic communication from the hosts.

The one and only problem which we had was there were no waste bags to be found for the kitchen bin!

This cottage was cosy and nicely decorated. The location was good for us and we were able to go for a long walk straight from the front door. It was absolutely fine for a weekend break.

The driveway was quite small for 2 cars and there is no garden so letting the dog out always required a fully kitted up walk. The property was very cold as the base temperature did not appear to be set high enough and 1 hour 30 did not seem long enough to heat the cottage up. The floors all felt ice cold. I did contact the owner and they were helpful and suggested lighting the Woodburner. We did this however the fuel supplied takes a long time to heat up and does not give off that much heat. We are very used to woodburners as use ours every day at home but did not feel this one provided enough heat on this occasion . I keep a very clean home and with a molting dog I would ideally hoover twice daily. There is no hoover provided that I could find so this was an issue and made me feel a little uncomfortable. I attempted to sweep but then couldn't find a small dustpan and brush to gather up what I had swept so sadly was able to keep it clean and tidy and I feel a hoover in a pet friendly cottage to be vital.

Easy key access Everything beautiful and clean Brilliant wood fire loved that So nice to have wood bricks, dishwasher tablets and washing tablets if we needed them. Beds were superb Lovely linen Brilliant views Blankets beautiful It was cold but we could boost the heating a bit Really lovely Was there instead of a a hotel room for the family and so we could bring the dog. We were there for my mums funeral so it was lovely and quiet for reflection.

It was cold and although we could boost the heating it was still mega cold downstairs. I’m sure it’s perfect in the summer but we needed thick socks for downstairs The back yard is an absolutely useless space and it’s a shame because it would be a sun trap. I was expecting a bit of a space for the dog to pee but not really appropriate so we had to put him on a lead and take him outside into the road area. Front garden looks lovely - wasn’t really the weather to use it but I doubt we would sit out there anyway. Bit exposed to the rest of the world. Might be better to have an enclosed area for the puppies to pee and extend the driveway because it was hard to park two cars on there.

Fire alarm kept going off for no reason each morning

This is the 3rd time that my family have stayed in this cottage. It’s is in a great location and is great for my family of 2 adults and 2 12 year olds. Close to Llandudno. Great local pub with fantastic food. Hosts were great at communicating before the stay. Really hope to visit again

Home from home comfortable stay and log burner was a real bonus in January. Beautiful location with excellent village pub.

The cottage is really homely and perfect for a getaway with lots of home comforts - the log burner was a particular highlight. It is ideally located near to Llandudno and other nearby towns but still feels rural. The village is also lovely with a playground and pub. We ate at the pub one evening and the food was delicious. Communication with the owners was great and they provided lots of information to help make our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely return thank you!
