"Loved it!"

10.0

It was a really lovely place to stay x

Not the property and Pentewan was so friendly. I did lots of research and it said we could take the dogs on the beach before 10am and after 6pm but that wasn’t the case. ā€˜private beach’ I’ve lived in Cornwall and I know there are NO private beaches. Sad really. But house was AMAZING. Thank you xx

"Perfect location in great village."

8.0

The cottage was very cosy and great location in the village. Well equipped. Nice touch that it was decorated for Christmas. Loved doing to horseshoe every morning!

Pillows in main bedroom could do with being replaced. Real fireplace was lovely but we weren’t sure it we were allowed to use it?

"Truly wonderful time had by all my family and our little dog, beach is dog friendly out of season"

10.0

The cottage was beautiful throughout, five minutes to the beach. We stayed over Christmas and it was decorated with a lovely tree and decorated, the village is friendly and welcoming, the local pub is fantastic with great food.

Absolutely nothing, highly recommend it, will be booking again in the summer

"Peaceful, relaxing stay"

9.0

- Good communication prior to arrival - Lovely cottage in a quiet village - Comfortable bed, pillows and linen. - well equipped kitchen Lovely cafe and pub within walking distance Shame the beach is not dog friendly until November. Great links with local area, we walked to Mevagissey, enjoyed a return ferry to fowey and a bus back to Pentewen.

It’s not a case of what we don’t like about the property, we couldn’t get the towel rail to work in the bathroom.

"Specious and well equipped accommodation in a remote village. Perfect for a relaxing stay."

Cottage is specious and well equipped. Pentewan Beach (private; no dogs allowed) is very close by. Located in small remote village with good connection to St Austell.

"Fantastic cottage in a great location - definitely recommended!"

10.0

Fantastic property in a great location! Emma (owner) could not have been more helpful in terms of communication and holiday tips to help us get the most out of our stay. Property was clean, spacious and really well presented with pretty much everything you could need to get going on your holiday. For any extra top ups needed there is a NISA/Co‐op about a 10-15 minute walk away which is well stocked. Phone signal isn't great around the village but the cottage has great WiFi available so you can plan trips etc as needed. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and is perfect for kids - clean and plenty of space to play. Dogs aren't permitted on the beach during summer months. Great pub in the village which is dog friendly and has a great beer garden across the road and there is a lovely cafe too which is great for coffee and breakfast, cakes etc (all a few minutes walk from the cottage). The property doesn't have designated parking but there is space to pull up outside to unload/load on the road. Its a cul-de-sac so very few cars going up and down. There are a number of free spaces a few minutes walk away in the square or there is a pay and display car park which was Ā£5 for 24 hours (as at July 2024) - card payment only. We were able to get a space most of the time but if you're stuck there is some additional parking a little further out by the NISA/Co-op which you can pay for inside the shop (card or cash). The people around the village are all so friendly and it's absolutely somewhere we'd go back to!
