Bank House | Peak District

We stayed in the upstairs apartment and we loved the 'quirky' features. Great location in the centre of Longnor, clean and great comms from Karen.

Could do with some additional lighting in the kitchen area, just one pendant in the centre of the ceiling leaves the sink and cooker a bit dim after dark. Minor thing, doesn't detract from the apartment as a whole and would happily stay again.

The location is perfect for walks and visiting the Peaks. The property is quirky but larger than expected.

The heating didn’t work, (came on at random times and ineffective) and as it was an old property and in shade it was very cold in the evening and morning, we had to wear blankets. There was a log burner there but very small amount of wood that was only enough for a couple of hours ( we stayed 3 days) The temperature in the apartment ruined the stay. We had previously contacted the owner on arrival to say the WiFi wasn’t working but didn’t hear back until 3 hours later, as it was a landline, so decided that mentioning the heating wasn’t worth it, such a shame as the property could be perfect. We assume that the heating controls are in the Cafe downstairs.

There was an awful terrible constant smell of dirty grease, obviously from the cafe below, only stayed one night , vacated after one night stay instead of 3

Lovely quirky apartment. Perfect for me and my dog for a hiking break. It had everything we needed for our stay.

Spacious house on the top floor. Good size shower, comfy bed, all very clean, quiet, free parking on the square. Some kitchen equipment should be upgraded (blunt knives) and lighting too (stronger lights in the kitchen and an additional softer one in the bathroom). Great walks with beautiful views on the doorstep. Highly recommended place.

Location to the local pub. The large spacious rooms.

Cafe downstairs was a little noisy

The location is fantastic, and the quality of the accomodation and facilities is spot-on. Longnor has pub, shop, post office cafes and chip shop and is a perfect base for peak district walking

The location. Easy check in. Living/kitchen was good.

The bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable and made a lot of noise even if you turn in your sleep.

The unit was brilliant,and the location was great for us.

The stairs because of my disability and. Apart from that we loved staying there.
