"If you want to have amazing views and enjoy the hot tub then I recommend. But beware that the lodges are pretty run down"

You are absolutely paying for the location. We stayed in Lodge 8 and loved the hot tub. Staff were friendly.

It is in serious need of a makeover. It looks pretty run down when you enter. Some drawers wouldn’t open in the bedroom. Beds were rock solid. The hotel food was not good. We ate in the hotel on the first night and left most of the food on the plate. Next morning we went over for some hot rolls but were told the cooker wasn’t working.

The staff were brilliant, the chouce of food in the restaurant was good and the young lad on the bar knew his stuff about whiskeys

The bed was really hard and by 4am I had to sleep on the sofa in the lodge
