Super Lake District Cottage in Heart of Kendal 3 Double Beds

Great location Comfortable Lovely bathroom Enough space for us all

Not enough cutlery Used Ash tray left on balcony- chair requires repair Slight smell of damp in one bedroom downstairs Could only get one ring on cooker to work

We loved the old quirkiness of the property, it was beautiful with the old beams and the log burner

There was a lot of cobwebs, granted most were quite high up on the beams. Also under the sofa hadn’t been hoovered in a long time the crumbs and dust were awful. My husband dropped his phone so we had to pull out the sofa. Lots of the pictures were wonky and the clock in the kitchen wasn’t working. All minor things that the cleaner is clearly letting them down on. Shame there’s no private parking for the property x

Location very central very quite Balcony nice outdoor balcony with table n chairs Upstairs bedroom very bright n spacious Bathrooms very modern Owner very helpful and easily contactable.

The kitchen facilities are poor for a group of 5 small kitchen not much workspace the cooker is very slow took ages to cook meals.

Very close to amenities and walks Beds comfortable and shower amazing

Be very careful on the stairs. Do not walk down them in stocking feet or you will slip. We all slipped once and was very concerned each time we used the stairs. With their steepness it could be a serious fall. There was salt and seasoning left in the cupboard but nothing else. Had to buy a few things. The heating comes on for a couple of hrs in the morning and evening but my daughter and I felt quite cold although my husband and son were fine. We used the log burner each day and night

We loved how quaint the house was. Very close to the high street of Kendal. The children loved the little snug area.

We didn’t dislike anything. Great house and location.
