Charming modernized country cottage Near Mere, Wiltshire

What a stunning little find. Property was a lovely size, pristine clean, wonderful facilities, was like home from home. We even had ducks come to visit!

The property itself is stunning and nothing to not like. the location to main attractions was excellent, only half an hour from Bath, but the pubs in the village stop serving food early on a Sunday so you must be prepared to travel or cook at home. This absolutely would not put us off staying here again, this will be on my go to list!

Cottage was clean and modern, view out back was lovely, the people were friendly had a lovely meal in the pub

Spent a while trying to find the cottage as no lights in the street and cottage not clearly marked. We rang the owner left a message, but she did not return our call, if it wasn't for the other residence helping, we would have returned home.

Gorgeous, well equipped cottage. lots of space and a great kitchen. Easy communication, instructions etc. Loved this cottage

Only thing we could say could be improved is the heating. Found it a bit chilly in the cold snap. Otherwise perfect.

Nothing it was fantastic place to stay. We had a lovely meal at the walnut tree with son and girlfriend. On Sunday we had the best roast beef dinner in The Butt of Sherry that we have ever had in a long while.

Place was great

Only complaint was the water pressure was low so the shower was weak but thats being nitpicky the place is lovely.
