Beautiful and clean with great facilities

Spacious cosy lounge , kitchen facilities good . Nice location , plenty of parking . Very clean .

Central heating was fixed and it often turned off or down and was quite cold in there. The conservatory, where the dining table and chairs were , had a wall electric heater which you had to manually switch on, taking a long time to heat the area up. As this was January this was not really acceptable , breakfast was a very chilly affair! Plus sadly our double bed was extremely uncomfortable, Every spring was visible on the thin mattress ! there was a gel topper and another topper . It felt like sleeping on marshmallow! No support whatsoever , both my husband and I got little sleep . I contacted Jo the owner beforehand to check if ok to have six guests to dinner ,celebrating my sisters 70th birthday. As there was only six chairs I asked if we could have two more . She was fine with this and said ok. On arrival there were only six chairs ! We used two garden chairs instead having to dry them off first.

The cottage is very comfortable and cozy. It was very clean and the communication with the owners was great.

We stayed only two nights. It was a bit cold and we have to drive to find some wood for the fire place, and bought a massive bag of it, which we didn’t use all. It would be nice if we would have found some already in the house. The rest was absolutely perfect.

It was easy to find, with good directions from the owner. The cottage was clean and tidy, and very nicely decorated, with special touches. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much. We loved the conservatory and the garden too. It was a pleasant, quiet, country house.

The location was amazing! Property was nice and clean and warm. The conservatory was a nice touch, had late breakfast there and it was warm and cosy. Would definitely go back and highly recommended.

The sofa's needs a bit of cleaning or maybe change to a darker colour but that's just my OCD :) Also, maybe laundry detergent since as there are no nearby shops
