Ballyhoura Mountain Lodges

Ballyhoura is a wonderful place to get away from it all. It is our third visit and it still impresses us. The location is great right in the woods with possible walks available. Will come again.

Everything you need is provided, it is a home from home. Great if you have young children or pets. Idyllic location and a great pub nearby.

WiFi could be stronger in areas outside of main living room as there is no cellular reception.

we loved the quiet location and the views of the mountains. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The living area was large and well appointed - we enjoyed the selection of games and the TV. We received regular updates from Maggie about where to find the keys and things we needed.

The kitchen equipment needs a refresh - no wooden spoons, not enough glasses or mugs.

Nice concept; holiday park in the woods with various play areas and forest footpath. Nice Layout of property with big living space and decent sized bedrooms. Excellent mountain biking close-by

The property and holiday park did not feel well looked after. There was mould on the ceiling, broken/ mossy playground equipment, greasy oven. Felt cold even in July due to dampness. We saw fleas on the carpet probably from previous dog guest. Kitchen lacked a few basics like a large chopping knife and colander.

Great location

One of the showers didn’t work properly would either not work at all or stop mid shower. Also gave 50 euro deposit for electric not received any change.
