House with sea views close to Beach with WiFi and large kitchen and dining

The house have the most beautiful views,with both sea& mountains.Its a big house with loads of space. Unfortunately wasn't so clean,and we had trouble with the hot water& showers. The owner was very nice getting back and explain me how to turn on the hot water which it worked just to bath our kids and stopped after.We would love to go back there because like I said the house location it's a dream.Few jobs around the house could be improved. We didn't find any extra bin bags or washing liquid .It was poorly indeed from this point of view.

Great location and sea views in the (near) distance.

Experience fell drastically short of expectations, numerous issues forced us to find alternative last minute accommodation, including: Property advertises Wi-Fi, but hardly worked. Near-flat mattresses on multiple beds - worn and severely sagging. Bedding was old and unappealing. Note on fridge allowing use of laundry facilities - room was filthy, someone else’s laundry was in the machine. Satellite Box didn’t work, no instructions to troubleshoot, leaving tv redundant. Kitchen drawer missing, main crockery cupboard door swung precariously on one hinge. Top-floor toilet coming away from wall. Windows in lounge & kitchen were dirty and/or opaque, obstructing the views. Cobwebs and dust throughout property. Lampshades were dusty, wobbly, some lamps didn’t work. Blinds in lounge didn’t lift fully, further obstructing sea views. Downstairs bathroom had persistent smell and dirty shower door. Picnic area overgrown, broken flower pots lying on floor & rusted barbecue grills. No wood provided for BBQ (or for fireplace inside) despite being advertised as features to use. Fridge exterior was damaged, oven damaged, walls above over/cooker layered with thick dirt/grease, one bedroom door didn’t latch closed meaning occupants had reduced privacy. Outdated Photos - Many features from the listing photos were either missing or in poor condition, including pergola which was no longer there (a few broken remains), sofa in the listing looks new, but was damaged (hidden with red cover), upstairs shower door as shown in listing was missing, replaced with a curtain, garden areas are unkempt and neglected whereas photos in the listing show neat garden. When we informed the host how disappointed we were & that we were departing, response we received was not only unapologetic, but was defensive, rude and challenging, rather than addressing our concerns.

This is a house that would suit a family for a nice west of Ireland holiday, plenty of room and comfortable but a little remote, but that is attractive also, we enjoyed our stay and had lovely walks on the local beaches, everything we needed was available in a well stocked kitchen, and the sitting and dining room are big enough for a party!!
