Quiet area. Lovely sheltered outdoor seating area with outdoor stove with plenty of fire wood, so relaxing to sit outside at night

I would have preferred an actual oven instead of the mini one but that's a minor thing. Would have liked an extra saucepan or two and a few more utensils like tongs or a whisk or some sharp knives.

"Our Favourite Stay Yet 🌳"

2 Adults & 2 Kids - We booked Retreat Lodge for 3 nights and had the best time. The photos really don't do it justice. It was so peaceful and relaxed and the owner Joe and his family who live next door with their 2 friendly dogs couldn't have been anymore helpful. They responded or called In immediately if we had any questions at all and recommended a few great takeaways and places to go during the day with the kids. The kids loved sitting out on the porch at night toasting marshmallows. Such a unique find in Donegal 💚

The perfect location to get away from it all and relax... Lots of beautiful beaches and places to visit nearby! We will definitely be returning to Retreat Lodge!
