"Great Location and lovely holiday retreat"

9.0

Great location for walking and exploring the Peak District. Everything we needed for a weeks stay including a BBQ and a little patio table and chairs. Walking distance to three nice pubs (one in the village). Eggs & Milk a lovely touch . Thank you 🙏

As mentioned before for someone tall shower sprays a bit. Not a problem using it but just worried about water damage for the host. Parking fine for our small VW Golf just need someone to guide you out.

"Comfortable cottage and friendly hosts made our stay in Eyam relaxing and comfortable. The village has good facilities a"

It was a lovely old stone cottage and since weather was hot, we appreciated the coolness inside. I appreciated the apron provided as forgot to bring my own and the hens parading in front of the kitchen window were very entertaining! The eggs left for us were a nice gesture. NB the No noisy crowing disturbed the mornings!

We must be odd but can never cope with duvets in hot weather. We always bring our own sheet and blanket therefore. The parking was tight for a large Belingo but we managed.

"So good we'd like to stay again!"

9.0

Cosy, warm cottage but plenty of room. Very friendly hosts. Appreciated the pint of milk, and eggs from the chickens that we watched through the kitchen window. Loved the eclectic selection of furnishings and ornaments. Interesting village. Great base for walking. It would have been lovely to sit in the courtyard if the weather had been better!

Parking a bit tricky but we were guided in by the hosts.
