Casa Leonarda - Stone house near Motovun in Central Istria, terrace with views

Superb Istrian house providing a real connection to nature. Maja was an excellent host and recommended various local kobono’s alongside helping us to book a vineyard tasting at Matijasic. BBQ on the terrace at sunset and the house is equipped for evening’s relaxing on the terrace or in the lovely house. If you want to stay in rural Istria, that is fairly close to Motuvan, you should stay here.

Maja was a great host! We were in good contact during our stay. Maya was very helpful. The house was top, quiet comfortable and well equiped. In the kitchen we found everything we needed for cooking, we will definetly come back again. Thank you Maya!!!! The only thing you have to know is that the house has three levels. So it is not suitable for people with limited mobility.

The location was awesome. Could not be more beautiful! Absolutely stunning. The owner was so gracious and the cottage itself was cozy, fully set up for anything you might need and felt like out of a fairytale! Bed was so comfortable and neighborhood so peaceful Owner had great communication with us re directions getting there and checked in throughout our stay to make sure all was going well. We were welcomed with bread, wine and a lovely manager who shared lots of info re places to eat and shop. Wow! .

We liked everything!!! We had absolutely no complaints!

It was rustic..beatiful view..everything you need for selfcatering..support was amazing..every question answered asap

Dogs barking..chickens nextdoor..but its all nature, so no complaints..
