"Not for us. Some strong concerns"

5.0

Convenient to both Letterkenny and Glenveagh, remote enough to have your own space.

There was a terrible smell of oil or paraffin the whole time. Honestly we all had headaches from it. The stairs to the upstairs is also in my opinion dangerous for getting up and down. There was some mould beside the bed upstairs. As much as I enjoyed reading the history behind the cottage, I found it to be cold and not worth the price paid given the overwhelmingly strong smell of oil.

Such a beautiful cottage, and it's location was perfectly set in the Donegal countryside.

Difficult to find, especially as we arrived in the dark after a three hour travel delay. The property is on road number 6382 which is signposted and this information should have been in the instructions, also a sign saying Butler's Cottage should be on the roadside gate.
