The Coach House, Clonakilty

Loved the Coach House and Sarah Jane was fantastic. We really felt like we were in a home away from home. Walk into village very pleasant and good access to routes for sight seeing.

Location, Design & Decor, Privacy Ease of navigation through the heating & cooking systems, shower etc Little touches like some local produce in place on arrival ie milk brown bread yogurt crisps chocolate eggs etc Suggestions on walks, things to do was much appreciated & were availed of. I loved all the lovely books provided too on local amenities & history. This is a very well thought out & well planned beautifully decorated apartment where one could easily spend an extended stay if necessary.

The steps leading from bedroom to hallway. While different colour flooring was in place to make the steps more visible I felt it would be very easy miss the step, particularly in the dark when making one's way to the bathroom, caution is required here. Perhaps a discreet strip light at the front edge of the step would help

Really beautiful cottage. High spec. Comfortable bed. All the facilities one could wish for.

This was one of the best, if not the best, apartments we stayed in. There are a lot of thoughts about details in the apartment, welcoming items everywhere. The breakfast was not included but the host left us so many goodies that were more than enough for two nights for both of us. We didn't meet the host, but the welcoming note was nice. I definitely recommend the place to everyone.

Lovely setting. Old building converted. V modern inside. Tastefully decorated. V generous welcome package.

Everything was high-end, high-spec and immaculately clean. Lovely courtyard to enjoy the sun (when it came out). Delicious home-made bread and treats on arrival. Handy washing machine and dryer. Perfect all round.

Super cosy and comfortable with EVERYTHING that you need. Sarah-Jane left a brilliant welcome basket with plenty of food for breakfasts. It was super clean with a brilliant comfortable bed and a lovely outdoor area where we had breakfast each morning. It was about a 15 walk into Clonakilty. However this is exactly what we were looking for as it has a country feel, yet is on the edge of town. The best of both worlds in our view.
