Great location in Ballycastle County Mayo

Directions on booking.com take you to County Antrim but property is in County Mayo. We were there on a Monday and there are no restaurant/cafe options on Mondays in the town.

No toiletries or coffee

Dogs allowed which is what we needed. Enclosed yard to back. Good shower. Easy access via key box and person on hand to check all was well. Lovely little bakery just down the road. Comfortable beds..Quiet.

Very small kitchen but sufficient for our needs for one night.

Ideal location close to everything.

Great location for our stay for a family event. House was spotless clean.

Nothing

We loved having a home base to explore County Mayo. The location on Main Street next to the Ballinglen museum was a bonus!

Visitors should know that there is no oven in the kitchen. It would be great if the house could have a drying rack for laundry as well.

The size of the apartment.

The apartment was clean, but not recently refreshed. To have breakfast you need to wait until 10 am, when the only bar of the town opens. To have dinner you need to buy something from a take away place and eat in a pub of the town. The town itself does not offer anything so that the price of the apartment should take in consideration this, in other words price x value is not balanced.

List of things that I didnt like - Couldnt get into the property . No Contact with owners despite our calls & emails. . Living space far too small. No Hot water. Internet facilities not working . safety of staircase. Lights not working. Outside area that was not waist high with weeds.
