Muralee's Riverside Villa in Kochi

Spectacular view and lovely house we could ever find for this price. Couldn't ask for more. The place is away from hustle bustle of the city at the same time pretty accessible to the city and tourist places around. We found it very convenient to commute by Uber to fort Kochi for the work we had. Zomato and Swiggy services are available and this really helped us to order food at our finger tips, although there is a kitchen for cooking your own meals, however we chose to order since we were there just for a day. Overall we had a very comfortable stay, it was clean and well maintained.

There is nothing I can point in specific that I didn't like. Overall it was a good stay and we were happy about the stay and would love to stay again in future.

The host is a very sweet lady. Depending on what you like you can have different opinions about the location: great if what you want is to be in peace, surrounded by the beautiful backwaters and away from tourists and chaos. Not so good if you want to go eating out every day and want to do groceries at the corner. It is a bit remote, which for us was a very nice thing… The house has all you need

Unfortunately I can’t give a higher score to the place due to some cleanliness issues that made us feel uncomfortable. Since the reviews of the house showed such a good score for cleanliness, we were expecting that. I will not go into details because I don’t think it is fair to the host who was very understanding and considerate and gave us a discount to make up for the inconveniences. We assume, looking at the reviews and listening to the host, that it was just an unfortunate case.

Lovely big house on the river. So peaceful with a lovely, big outside area to chill whilst looking at the river. The owner was so helpful and always replied quickly to any queries. There's not much around (which for us was a plus) but there are bicycles to borrow and Uber always available quickly. Food wise there is a well equipped kitchen with several supermarkets nearby or if you don't want to cook then you can order in from a nearby restaurant via WhatsApp. Amazing. Some reviews mention loud music early in the morning from the temple opposite but we didn't hear anything. Would definitely stay again.

This was one of my amazing experiences that I will always cherish. The place is so beautiful with backwaters, scenic patio, front yard with trees and huge bunglow. Each stuff in the house is so thoughtfully done. There are few activities I enjoyed there, Cycles for guest which came so handy, we went cycling, experienced both city and countryside life. Badminton court was nice but we had no time to play. We had a divine experience of sailing in backwaters with canoe at this place. Sitting outside, birds chirping, water flowing was all so rejuvenating. Mrs. Menon is a wonderful host and I learnt she has worked with Oberoi Hotel and hospitality background and thats what brings a complete hosting experience to you in a platter. Thanks Mrs. Menon for sharing your beautiful villa and giving us such memorable moments. I will surely visit again and recommend your place.

It was very nice and comfortable. just wakable and enjoyable all variety foods available. suroundings are lovable.and hundred persentage carm and quiet. River shore very beutiful. Every time flowing smooth wind. River is so silent. Like a village girl walking. 👏👏👏
