VALIYATH HOLIDAYS HOMESTAY

We have a very nice time in Valiyath homestay. The apparentment is only one minute walk from the river where we could sweem and take a boat. The host and his family was very kind and helpful. Nice atmosphere, big rooms and spacious bathroom.

The hosts are super nice, it’s a quiet and relaxed place. The host showed us around and was very helpful with activities. I loved the cooking, tasted like home. Overall really liked our stay here and would come back again!

Room was very clean. Host family was great hospitality. They let us borrow bikes and it was great. We got to explore the island more because of the bikes.

We ordered Vegetarian dinner. There was only chapatti and stew.no rice and no any Vegetables.we felt too simple because my kids eat well..but taste good.

I was welcomed by the hosts when I arrived and they were so nice. They directly arranged for me to go kayaking for the sunset and even drove me to the place. Munroe island is stunning and if you are looking for a relaxing stay, Valiyath is a great place where you will be welcomed like a family member. The food was amazing and the location was perfect.

You could not get more friendly, helpful and hospitable hosts than Sajjayan and his family. They looked after me from the moment i stepped off the train and made sure i got to see all the things I wanted to on the island. Either Sajjayan took me on his motorbike or i used one of the bicycles. Lovely home cooked food for breakfast. Evening meal also available or there is a good restaurant nearby. The accommodation is over the road from the family house. There are bedrooms leading off from a communal sitting room, dining room and kitchen. You may have it to yourself or be sharing.

The homestay would really benefit from a nice outside seating area. Its a bit grim at the rear so I put a chair on the front step to sit and read. You cant really see out from inside the accommodation and its a shame not to be amongst the greenery.

Even at midnight, it was hassle free checkin and completed the procedures in minutes. Hosts were so helpful and welcoming. Family was so helpful that they took care of mi and my kids every need. The food was so tasty. Washing machine was available
