Nerea

This little place was so perfect for our stay. So thoughtfully put together with all the positioning - view out to see and little olive tree bench. It felt brand new and there was literally everything we needed along with the most incredible welcome basket. Literally at the end of the road there is one of our favourite beaches and favourite tavernas. Total gem.

View of sea was great. Location excellent. Privacy good. Owner was very helpful kind & friendly. Villa had one bedroom, shower room & open plan kitchen living room (large sofa(bed) insect screens, AC and solar heated water with immersion back up (not needed on our stay) Property was really well equipped with everything needed & thoughtful extras by way of fruit, wine, water, preserves, tea, olive oil, herbs, eggs, filter coffee & pods all provided. Ag Efymia is a pretty seaside village with a lovely range of restaurants, bars, shops & the Yellow Boat hire company for a day exploring the north coast & beaches. Everyone we met was welcoming & friendly. The seafood and wine were excellent in Almea & Paradise Beach Restaurants. The Local restaurant down by harbour served tasty souvlakis with local wine.

There was nothing I didn’t like about this excellent property. Nerea consists of two villas - Stone & Sand which are near but private. Nerea is located up a steep rough road and then from the excellent car park there are 30 steps (safe & well lit) up so this is not for mobility impaired clients. We elected to drive down into town on most occasions where in May street parking was free & easily found. Signage off the main road & up the hill would be helpful. I suggested two Sun loungers would be a good addition to the table & 4 chair outdoor furniture set in the sunny patio. There’s a good sized, thoughtfully planted garden with lavender & jasmine & two mature trees. Very pretty setting & private. You can hear a goat bell in the land below in the morning. Very quiet & peaceful at night.

Amazing view of both mountains and coast! You can see the glittering lights of the nearby town of Sami across the bay at night. The villa was very clean inside and had a well maintained, beautiful garden, great to watch the swallows flitting around in the morning and evening. WiFi was good, kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need, even has a dishwasher and washing machine! Panos was an excellent and warm host, who was on hand if needed, but left us to enjoy our holiday after giving us a tour of the Villa. When we return to Kefalonia, we will definitely book here again, so peaceful. Thank you Panos!

Fantastic location with an incredible view. So quiet and peaceful. The house was perfect with everything we could ever need provided and the hosts were so welcoming.

Building noise, but that's not the owner's fault.

The house has such a beautiful view that you can spend the whole holiday on the terrace! The owners are the nicest and most helpful people ever, we happen to have some unexpected health problem and their help was prompt - we felt like we were in a safe pair of hands (Many thanks again!)The house is very well equipped with everything you need and was spotless clean. It was lovely to be able to keep all doors opened all the time as they are fitted with nets to keep insects away.

We loved everything

The house is located just a few minutes far from the center of Agia Efimia. It’s brand new, comfortable and fully equipped. Ideal for 2 people, it suits well also a 4 people family. Our children slept well on the sofa bed. Only downside: the way to reach the house is steep. So you need either a car or good legs to get there. The host is always available and extremely kind. Overall we had a very nice time in Nerea’s house.

Perfect little house. Everything felt very new and the place was spotless. Furnished with everything you might need including food essentials and extra gifts! Amazing coastal view. We loved the location, there are some excellent restaurants within a short walk and a small beach was at the bottom of the road. We really liked the village, pretty, quiet but everything you need, not too touristy. Easy to communicate with hosts who were friendly and kind. We would definitely stay again.

There is a short but quite steep hill up to the house. It was no problem for us. If you have mobility issues or if it’s in the midday heat you might not want to walk up and down. You can always drive the 30 seconds down/up though.

Peace and quiet, magnificent view, perfect accomodation, very clean, with everything well-thought. Panos, the owner is an amazing host.
