Central Townhouse with Garden & Free Parking

Location was fabulous, very close to the town centre and the Christmas market, parking for two cars, was also able to park there before checkin to enable us to go for lunch. House was lovely over 4 floors, very quirky beautifully decorated, kitchen well appointed. Check in was stress free, met at the property at the time of check in by a member of the team who went through everything. The company was brilliant to deal with, prompt with all questions that were asked on the run up to the stay

Location was excellent and we could walk a short distance to get our breakfast. Facilities in the kitchen were perfect for making our own as well.

Location was amazing, all the rooms were cleaned to a very high standard. Sofa beds werent the comfiest, but the others beds were. Had everything we needed for a perfect stay!

Nothing, although the number of stairs could be a problem for those of lesser mobility. This is inevitable in that type of building.

Good location Spacious house

The house is in a great location and spacious enough to accommodate our group of 11. It's nicely decorated, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. I booked this house for a relaxing weekend getaway with my family, but it turned out to be anything but comfortable. - The kitchenware was disappointing, with chipped and stained mugs, a frying pan with worn-away non-stick coating, and greasy, dirty oven trays. - The iron was non-functional and, despite requesting a replacement, it was never provided. I had specifically messaged prior to our stay to confirm there would be an iron, and was assured there would be. After reading reviews, I discovered that a guest had raised this issue back in August, yet it was still unresolved. - The en-suites are actually tiny wet rooms, which meant that showering caused water to splash all over the toilet and sink. I personally dislike wet rooms, and had I known this in advance, I would not have booked the house. - The shower head in the main bathroom was encrusted with limescale, causing the water jets to spray erratically. - In the annex bathroom, the shower tray wasn't draining properly, leading to water overflowing onto the bathroom floor. - The water temperature in the annex shower was dangerously hot, with no cold water mixing in. My grandmother nearly burned herself. - The double bed in the annex (not the sofa bed) was sagging in the middle, making it extremely uncomfortable. - The sofa beds throughout the house were also very uncomfortable. - Several blinds were broken, and light bulbs were missing. - The back garden area had not been swept, and the outdoor furniture was dirty. - There were insufficient dishcloths, and the dishwasher tablets didn't dissolve properly because the upper tray didn’t fit correctly. - The doors to the rooms squeaked loudly. - One of the children got locked in a room on the second floor because the door became stuck, which was a frightening experience.
