Good location. Good to have a parking space. OK price

Very grubby - as others have mentioned in reviews, the house needs a deep clean. Were the bed sheets clean? we really weren't sure. Large pile of old building materials dumped in the courtyard next to the table and chairs. No corkscrew. Only 4 mugs but huge amount of plates and bowls! Glasses and cutlery were very smeared. Random bits of "stuff" left lying around. Couldn't get the TV or the cooker to work despite instructions. No warning about the potentially treacherous stairs.

Great location for walking Angles Way. Beautiful period property.

Could be a wonderful retreat but definitely still a work in progress. Needs deep clean and more attention to detail.

"Well renovated older cottage in an excellent location for town centre"

Well renovated cottage, tastefully done with character maintained. Modern upstairs ensuite shower room and downstairs bathroom. Great location for town centre. Allocated parking space nearby. Good kitchen and dining area.

Due to be an older property, the top of stairs between bedrooms is difficult. The addition of an extra handrail or grab handles would help.

nicely renovated without losing the cosy feel of the cottage, other reviews about steep stairs, noisy windows etc should be disregarded as this is to be expected from a building of this age!

"**BOOK WITH CAUTION**"

Beware when booking this property. The pictures advertised are clearly very old. The property is dated, in a state of disrepair, untidy and dirty. We booked for 2 nights, but we checked out after the first night due to the state of the property, with my daughter having to sleep on the sofa due to the smell of cigarettes in the single bedroom. When raised with the owner, the owner became unreasonable and was not happy that I reported the property to booking.com. The owner initially offered a 50% refund, but after reporting to booking.com the owner rescinded any offer of compensation. The owner accused me of sneaking extra people into the property, and claimed my booking confirmation email was fake!! The owner took great pleasure in refusing the refund, knowing full well that booking.com wouldn’t get involved. And I suspect the owner does this type of transaction regularly to dupe guests! Very poor experience. **BEWARE**
