The Hidden Escapes Bingin Rooftop-Sunset House with Ocean View

Amazing views, great location. Ari (staff) was lovely and helpful. Lovely touches in the terrace, making it easy to hang out outside if the weather is agreeable.

The bedroom was quite small, barely enough room to walk around the bed. If it rains, you're unable to hang out outside because everything gets wet and the floor between the bedroom and the bathroom gets flooded, making it unpleasant to go to the bathroom when it's raining (stayed flooded even after rain ended, and note you will need an umbrella to go to the bathroom when it's raining.) As others mentioned, there's a backpacker hostel right under, so there's pub-level music and chatter every evening. Probably a better choice for those who plan to party late each night. Lots of steps to reach the room and to reach the beaches, must be very able physically to stay here. Overall one of the most expensive places I stayed in Bali, but not necessarily the nicest nor the most quiet or restful. I found it overpriced for what you get, but at a lower price could be an ok place to stay due mostly to the lovely views, despite the noise and exposure to the elements.

Almost everything. The place has a beautiful Indonesian design, it's in a central location in Uluwatu close to all the best beaches, it has a very nice view, the host made us a fantastic breakfast every day and helped us with extra things, it's walking distance to a lot of restaurants, free Wifi, free filtered water and the list probably goes on.

The place is on the roof/top level of Karma Backpackers, which isn't a problem by itself. The bigger issue is that it's on the dining area/bar of Karma Backpackers and it gets a bit noisy in the evenings. In the evenings it often felt like we were staying on top of a pub. There were about 3 nights where it was very noisy and the people at Karma Backpackers went on until 2 o'clock in the morning.

Absolutely loved our stay here, the very lovely host made us a great breakfast every morning and the view is amazing. We loved lounging on the day bed and watching the thunderstorms roll in over the ocean. It's only about five-ten minutes walk to Bingin Beach.

This didn't bother us, but the accommodation is on the roof of a hostel; they're the ones with the pool and billiards table you can also use. It wasn't a super loud hostel so it didn't bother us at all — but it might put off some travellers.

Beautiful Bingin getaway: perfect view, super comfy bed, nice kitchen, and such a nice and friendly staff.
