Fernfield Cottage

Location was great for travelling from , quiet at night time to enable rest. Host was excellent and had shared a lot of information about facilities within the surrounding areas.

Die Betten waren sehr gut und da bin ich wirklich empfindlich. Vom Verkehr der Straße hörte man gar nichts, alles wunderbar ruhig. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und völlig unkompliziert. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Wenn man nach Irland kommt, muss man wissen, dass alle Wege weit sind. Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt es sehr wohl in dieser Region, aber es liegt weit auseinander. Für Menschen die Trubel suchen, eher ungeeignet. Viel Wandern, viel Ruhe, viel Natur und gelegentlich ein Ausflug mit dem Auto- wunderbar!

Despite arriving before the check in time, we were welcomed with a legendary Irish hospitality and able to get in early. There is a private secluded garden which was perfect for having a G&T in the sun? 😎

I honestly cannot think of anything that's negative to say... We will return! 😊

The location was amazing for access to the beach as well as the local pubs and shops. The hosts had left some lovely extras to make the stay that bit more comfortable. By far the best place we have stayed on our trips over to Donegal 😊

The supply of food provision was greatly Appreciated .We were welcome with a loaf of bread, cornflake , milk, a Carton of orange juice and many more. That was a very kind gesture from the host. The accommodation was very welcoming. Nice bed, clean and tidy. Overall we spent a fabulous time and would highly recommend the place.

Close shops,pubs, and beaches.

We loved how it had everything that could be needed for a 5 day stay and more ,,the welcome hamper was fantastic and a nice touch .The beds was so comfortable and clean,the heating was fantastic and an open fire if you chose.The host Catherine was lovely and very helpful,would definitely use this property again.

There wasn’t a fault to be found

Catherine had left Bread, Milk, Biscuits, Tea, coffee, Juice and cereal. All the basics like cooking oil, salt, pepper, etc was there too. Netflix available which was great. Cottage was clean and comfortable and within walking distance of bar and restaurant. We travelled to Annagry to eat on two of the nights and there was an excellent local taxi service provided by Charlie at reasonable rates.
