Crown Stables

The location was amazing, the house manual was well written and thorough, incredibly useful in planning my activities! , It was quiet, relaxing even though on a main road. The owners had clearly thought of everything. It was so restful and calming. Just what was needed.

Lovely location. Attention to detail and everything needed for a short break.

Not much space in the mezzanine around the bed. Bathroom downstairs. 2 comfortable armchairs but it felt like sitting in a corridor. I could only watch TV in bed. However a lovely stay.

I like the fact that the building has history. It was spacious but cosy. Well equipped to a high standard.

Because it is situated next to a pub, we could hear people talking loudly when sitting in the kitchen.

Perfect location for a short stay. Property was incredibly well appointed with top quality fixtures and fittings including thoughtful additions like slippers and dressing gowns plus things we'd never normally expect like premium channels on the TV and a nespresso machine with a full array of pods. There is also a digital assistant with Apple music and a DAB radio, so if it rains you're sorted, but note that the owners have even supplied umbrellas!

Next to a very noisy road and perhaps the property is a little small but nevertheless extremely well-adapted.

Close to the centre of Rye, everything is there in this little place that you need. park in the Long stay car park near the windmill a few minutes walk but only £2.60 for all day parking. Don’t worry about noise, it’s nothing to worry about. Just mooch the town and chill in the crown stables with coffee and a paper.

Nothing to dislike, it’s a lovely place to stay.

Perfect location to high street, restaurants and shops. Place was very clean and good touches with a coffee machine, tea and coffee provided.

Loud pub next door but that wouldn’t put me off coming back, ear plugs provided and music stopped by 1am.

Beautiful property which was very well equipped and felt above and beyong e.g providing dressing gowns/slippers etc. The location was also very convenient.

It is next to the pub (which we were warned about) so can be a bit noisy but it didn’t bother us and the hosts supplied ear plugs. The wifi was also a bit slow.
