The e-guide provided by the host was the best ever & the range and quality of everything to do with the kitchen was excellent

The T.v apps and Netflix didn’t work even when the Wi-Fi was on

Lovely little house near the centre of Rye. All the decoration is done tastefully and it is well equipped.

The hosts do write in the description about the pub next door, but the level of noise was way beyond what we expected. It's not really a pub at the weekends, it turns into a nightclub with loud music thumping through the walls and people shouting football chants and screaming right outside the window at 2am. The ear plugs aren't really enough to deal with that situation. Considering the noise and the relative price, I wouldn't return if staying in Rye.

The pub next door was very noisy on the Friday night and kept my wife awake.

noisy pub revellers on Friday night

A lovely little gem in the heart of rye. Cosy, a great retreat on a cold weekend! Very nicely laid out and with everything you need, I was particularly impressed that the hairdryer had a diffuser attachment (that never happens) - there were loads of thoughtful details like this. Although on a main road good glazing kept it quiet from traffic noise. The location is perfect for exploring Rye, and as we didn’t bring a car we appreciated the easy walk from the train station.

There was some noise from people shouting outside the pub next door on the Saturday, but we did stay just before Christmas, and it didn’t go on too late so we still got a good nights sleep in the softest of beds.
