The Windmill

I really loved my stay in The Windmill. The mill is lovingly furnished down to the smallest detail. The owners are a very accommodating older couple. There was even a little something to eat when I arrived. I really appreciated my stay. In the evening you also have a beautiful view of the harbor with the sunset.

There is nothing to complain about

I liked the location, the view and the feel of the property. Had a homely greek feel which was great.

The shower head needs to stick out further so it’s not up against the wall. Not a problem when hand held.

Beautiful views from terrace, perfect location and lovely building

Was a very unique and quirky experience. Well equipped for the space. Lady next door was delightful and welcoming with her coffee and homemade goodies. The fantastic views and sunset setting definitely sells this property.

Nothing. It suited us but not so if you don't like steps or limited space to move around.

The view

Electrics un-safe with bare wires No mention of stairs inside that were just raw stone Bathroom and shower terrible Kitchen poor- Bare light bulb hanging over sink-two electric hobs rusty and looked dirty. Bed-old sheets and old eiderdown. Mattress I could feel the springs. O ly one side of the bed could be accessed due to a low beam running across the edge of the bed Towels, clean but very rough. Internet only worked intermittently and if alongside the router. Outside veranda had owners rusty and unusable bbq. Also the contents of what looked like a shed-rakes tools etc. Veranda seating was old with hand made loose cushions and the seats replaced with plywood. Overall the furniture looked either secondhand or just old. The DIY painting and decoration was appalling. In summary if this is booked the traveller need to be very beware

Elderly couple next door were super sweet. Lovely location high up the chora and away from the crowds. Lovely terrace with a view.

The toilet is the size of a pea. The windmill is super cramped. Super uncomfortable living space to be honest. Definitely not for those with mobility issues.
